About

Auto-Sport-Images began after taking a few photos for a friend who was racing at the Finlake Hillclimb in Devon, hosted by the Torbay Motor Club. Having seen a number of my shots, I was approached by some of the other competitors wanting photos of them in action. Unfortunately the venue no longer hosts these events.

However my interest motorsport photography continued, and despite the ever increasing restrictions by circuits regarding 'track-side' photography, I have still kept my eye in and enjoy regular visits to Silverstone.

2007 saw me taking on a new challenge in the form of Zapcat racing, the aquatic equivalent to motorcycle sidecar racing!

2008 again saw me supporting the Zapcat series, and indeed sponsoring one of the boats for the later part of the season. It also gave me a chance to expand my experience of 'watersport' photography when I covered the British round of the European Waterski Championships in Ramsgate.
